The National Coal Mining Museum for England receives grant-in-aid funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport towards its revenue costs, but is reliant on donations, sponsorship, legacies and grants in order to develop and expand. If you would like to help us to keep the history of coal mining alive for future generations to appreciate, here are some of the ways you can support us:
Make a Donation
Leave a Gift in your Will
Adopt a Pit Pony
Buy a Brick
Corporate Sponsorship
Make a Gift of Shares

You can also raise money for the Museum just by clicking here to visit Everyclick, an internet search engine that donates half its revenues to charity.

The Museum is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB), the self-regulatory body for fundraising in the UK. As an FRSB scheme member, the Museum has agreed to adhere to the highest standards of good practice in its fundraising and a Fundraising Promise.
