Museum Stores Access & Education Coordinator

2012 Ready Renaissance Grant-aided post

18 hours per week, six-month contract (4.10.2010 to 1.4.2011). Salary - £5,120.

The National Coal Mining Museum for England is seeking a Museum Stores Access & Education Coordinator to work on a project to improve access to its stored collections. The Coordinator will be expected to deliver on two main strands: improve physical access to three stores and improve intellectual access to the objects. The Coordinator will work within a museum team which will include volunteer participation. The Museum operates a flex-time system.
