Wakefield Family Hubs: Stay and Play
Stay and play with your little ones!
Join Wakefield Family Hubs for 5 weeks of stay and play fun! Each session will offer activities for your little ones along with rhymes and songs to enjoy learning together as a family. Each week your little one will be given a book or rhyme card to practice what they have learnt in the session at home.
We recommend booking onto all 5 sessions to get the full benefit for your little one. Sessions will be aimed at children aged 2+ with younger siblings welcome.
Booking is essential to guarantee your child’s place. Adults do not need to pre-book their place. Please note all children must be accompanied by a maximum of two adults. Phones aren’t allowed to be used in the sessions due to Wakefield Family Hubs safeguarding policy.
After Stay and Play you can find the rabbit in Parkinson’s Yard, tunnel in the Technology Gallery or visit our Victorian Gallery. Watch out for the cute canaries, the ponies in our Pony Discovery Centre and if you’re ready for a ‘pitstop’ there’s Caphouse Café or visit the Adventure Playground and bring a picnic.
