A poster calling for workers to ‘Come Into Mining’. The slogan reads ‘Come into Mining – the Miner’s the skilled man the Nation will always need’ and the slogan ‘ Coal can keep Britain Great’. The poster is part of a recruitment campaign.

The marketing department of the NCB came out of the post war era and used many of the design ideas learnt through wartime propaganda.
