A black and white etching by Black Country artist R. S. Chattock. The image depicts men unloading tubs from the top of a wooden structure. Smoke is billowing out of a chimney and two wooden head stocks can be seen in the distance.
This print may have been one of sixteen etchings which were reproduced in the book ‘Illustrative of Scenes in the Coal and Iron District of South Staffordshire’ by Chattock, London and Birmingham (1878).
