Charcoal and compressed charcoal drawing on Fabriano Cartridge paper by artist and former miner Harry Malkin entitled ‘All Together’. The drawing is an underground scene depicting four miners lifting and moving a pan. The pan would be fitted with many others to make the coal face conveyor that would transport the coal off the face. Fitters worked alongside workmen, deputies and overmen to pull together to develop the next coalface.
