Titled ‘Stop it! Before you clean it!’ This safety poster features cartoon artwork by Bill Hooper. The poster shows a large image of a miner speaking to another miner underground and pointing to a conveyor. The poster was found on site at Harworth Colliery. The character developed by Hooper for this NCB safety campaign was called Davy Lump who was based on his earlier cartoon creation Pilot Officer Percy Prune.
