The rosette was won by Oxo, a retired pit pony. Oxo worked for 11 years at Bestwood and Gedling collieires until he retired after an accident. He became a show pony and went on to win many awards.
This oval, blue and yellow rosette were awarded at the South Nottinghamshire National Coal Board Show, in 1979.
