Please note that we are set to temporarily pause our iconic Underground Tours, from Sunday 29 December until April 2025, to install a brand new winding engine which allows us to take visitors 140 metres underground. The Museum will remain open with a brand-new digital immersive experience launching in January 2025.
A Surveyor’s notebook for Maltby Main Colliery dated January 1915 to September 1916. The notebook logs ventilation readings and maps out various roadways with readings along them.
