5 things we’ve learned about virtual learning…

Making fabulous virtual learning experiences

During the last year, we have gone virtual so we can still deliver workshops to schools. Here are 5 things we have learned about making fab virtual experiences:

1) Technology can be difficult – that is why we have a tech test before every workshop and the bonus is we can chat to the teacher and know what to emphasise to support your learning focus

2) Virtual workshops can be interactive – we have a variety of ways of getting your students to join in

3) You can still have the authentic voice of a miner or character from the past – live Q and A at the end of the session with a miner or character.

4) It can be sensory – there are things to see, hear and do and we send out activities to do in the workshop.

5) You can still make it a “day out”– we send out resources that you can do pre and post workshop.
