The People Who Made Caphouse Tour
Discover the lives of the inventors and innovators that made Caphouse and Hope Colliery. The tour will focus on Jack Inman, Thomas Newcomen, James Watts, Lady Matilda, Richard Trevithick, John Blenkinsop and Emma Lister Kaye.
Explore how problems in mining were solved by brilliant innovations by these people over more than three centuries and how these advances were used here on site.
Easy to moderate, some uneven ground.
